Tofu & Shiitake Mushroom K-BBQ Skewer

Delicious vegan or veggie recipe for Chimac K-BBQ tofu and shiitake mushroom skewers. Grab your sauce and get the BBQ hot!

Suitiable for: Vegan

  • Shiitake mushrooms (either fresh or rehydrated)
  • Firm tofu (anything less than firm will fall apart)
  • Spring onions
  • K-BBQ sauce
  • BBQ skewers 

    1. Chop the firm tofu into tasty cubes and slice the mushrooms into thin slices. Cut the spring onion into 2 - 3cm pieces
    2. Pour on K-BBQ sauce and toss the ingredients, letting it marinade for 15 mins minimum
    3. Pop the ingredients onto the skewers, alternating between the different elements
    4. When the BBQ is nice and hot, throw on the skewers
    5. Let them cook for a couple mins on each side, turning once
    6. Enjoy - feel free to slather on a little extra K-BBQ sauce
