K-BBQ Baked Aubergine Recipe

Deliciously simple, charred meaty aubergine which will make you weak at the knees. Check out our five step recipe below. All you need is Chimac K-BBQ Sauce, aubergine (we recommend one each) and some sesame seeds. Let’s go!


  1. Cut your aubergines in half. Crosshatch each side - think about creating a Burren-esque karst backdrop of clints & grikes

  2. Generously rub on K-BBQ sauce, getting into the little crevices and cracks

  3. Sprinkle with sesame seeds

  4. Pop in the oven at 170

  5. Allow to cook until golden and caramelized around 20 mins
